Description

Our patriarch, Alvin Schulze, ignited our love of food. That passion expanded when Alvin & Wanda Schulze started their first restaurant in 1964, when their son, Clifford, was 5 years old. By 1973, they had 3 restaurants. Alvin continued to work 7 days a week alongside Clifford until his death at 86 years old in April 2021.

Prior to Alvin's death, Clifford and his wife, Sherry, began the process of acquiring commercial property in Seguin, and the idea of Schulze’s Pit Room was born. We’re passionate about good food and we’re here to show you just what our patriarch loved the most: real Texas hospitality and real BBQ.
