On April 4, 1998, the owners of the Ugly Dog Saloon set out to provide world-class BBQ in the heart of the New Orleans Warehouse District. For over twenty years, we have satisfied guests with delicious, smoky BBQ, slow-roasted in our onsite smoker, paired with our famous housemade coleslaw.
Today, Ugly Dog has reimagined its menu to offer traditional BBQ classics that are inspired by the Cajun & Creole flavors that define Louisiana cooking. Don’t get us wrong – you’ll still find all of the BBQ staples that made Ugly Dog famous. But you’ll also find we’re much more than just a BBQ joint.
