Slows To Go opened in December 2010 as an extension of and companion business to Slows Bar Bq in Corktown. Slows To Go is a 6,000 square foot commissary kitchen. We are able to prepare the same food, with the same high quality ingredients much more efficiently and without cutting any corners. Slows To Go prepares much of the food served at Slows Bar Bq.

Slows To Go is a carryout location. We offer nearly the same menu offered at Slows Bar Bq. Call ahead or order on-line. We’ll have your order waiting for you when you arrive.

Slows To Go is a catering business. We can provide all of our food by the pound or by the pan. We can have your order ready for pick up either hot and ready to eat or cold with detailed reheating instructions. We can also bring the order to you as a drop off or we can come along with staff for buffet or family-style service. Slows To Go is a fixture in Ford Field. In 2012 we began our relationship with the Detroit Lions, opening a game day location on the Huntington Club level. To meet demand, we added a second stand outside section 115 on the main concourse. Slows To Go inside Ford Field is open for all Lions games and for most stadium events.

Slows To Go now operates a 22ft Mobile Kitchen Trailer. You may have seen at various festivals around town. The trailer is available for block parties, concerts, festivals, weddings, corporate events and more. Please note there is 250 person minimum for the food truck.
