Russell Roegels - Owner/Pitmaster - From humble beginnings with Bodacious BBQ in Longview to owning and operating the Houston branch of the BBQ chain Baker’s Ribs, pit-master Russell Roegels has 20 years of experience putting heat to the meat. After much consideration over the past year, we have decided to build our own brand of BBQ. Roegels Barbecue Co. will be located in the same space where there has been a Baker’s Ribs since November 1994. Roegels Barbecue Co. will continue to be family owned and operated.
I will be in charge of all of the meats and my wife Misty be serving up the sides. We plan on offering traditional BBQ meats along with with some custom, Roegels family twists. We have always believed in serving a quality product, only using top-quality meats. #wholehog events. #openmondays #scratchmadesausage
The side orders will change some as well. We will use our own recipes and spice blends. Our sides will consist of pinto beans, potato salad, and coleslaw every day. Other sides will rotate depending on the freshness and season of the products.
