Established in 2020. "I grew up here in Jacksonville (Class of ’96) and would eat Stacy’s Barbecue two or three times a week. It was from eating Stacy’s so often that I grew to love barbecue and the process of making it. However, for about 16 years, my wife, kids, and I lived in the foreign country of Arkansas. In this desolate land, I could not find anything that resembled the great Texas barbecue I grew up eating. So…I bought a smoker and started making my own. This led to making it for work parties and small catering events for friends. God led us back to the promised land for work but then He opened the doors for a brick-and-mortar barbecue place to return to Jacksonville. So here we are! If you ask anyone who knows me, they will say my passions are my Lord and Savior, my family, Texas, and barbecue."
