Fall of 2019, we moved to Asheville, the diamond in the sky, on a whim! Well it seemed like a whim, but the connection to where we had called home for the past 15 years in upcountry Waimea, on the Big Island of Hawaii, and this country mountain village nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, have a kindred spirit that just felt oh so right.

So, here we are carrying the tradition from what we started in the middle of the Pacific. A little family eatery serving Texas style BBQ, freshly caught fish dishes, big country cakes, and a whole lot more all with Hawaiian style flavors covered in Aloha.

Whether at our Big Island flagship eatery, The Fish and The Hog or right here at Huli Sue’s in the historic Grove Arcade, we welcome you to be a part of our ohana.
