James’s earliest memories of BBQ started back in Coppell, Texas, where many family backyard shindigs were shared with friends and neighbors. Eventually, he moved to Austin, Texas, the MECCA of TEXAS BARBECUE, honing his pitmaster skills during those long 12 to 14 hour smokes - low and slow.
